Adjustment of Route Strategies to Cope with the Impact of Turbulent Global Conditions
The market has entered a post-pandemic era. As the global economy is slowly recovering from the recession, various countries have implemented large-scale fiscal and monetary stimulus measures. The pandemic has prompted enterprises and institutions around the world to accelerate the pace of digital transformation, emphasizing remote work, e-commerce, and digital innovation. At the same time, it highlights the fragility of global supply chains, prompting logistics operators and end buyers to re-evaluate supply chain strategies, intensifying supply chain restructuring, accentuating the importance of international cooperation and global governance, exposing defects in the international system, and sharpening regional political and religious conflicts. For route planning, the Company will focus on maintaining the sailing frequency and schedule integrity and making adjustments in port operations, feeder transport and inland transport, such as shortening the entering time of export containers to minimize the number of containers in the container terminal; giving ships loading more and unloading less priority in mooring, etc. in order to elevate the overall operational efficiency. At the same time, we will quickly respond to changes in climate and geographical conflicts, and actively adjust the structure of routes and ports to ensure that the Company's space supply and transit time are minimally disrupted, continuing to provide customers with stable services. We will also actively contract for profitable cargo transportation and collaborate with alliance partners to cope with geopolitical impacts. In the long run, the focus is on adjusting routes and designing new routes as an approach to responding to market changes and needs.
