In addition to the continuous impact of COVID-19 on the market, the outbreak of the Russia- Ukraine war, China’s Zero-COVID policy, and interest rate increases by the world’s major economies have resulted in port labor shortage, port congestion, container shortage, shipping space shortage, and shipping schedule delay in all harbors around the world. For route planning, the Company will focus on endeavoring to maintain the sailing frequency and schedule integrity and make adjustments in port operations, feeder transport and inland transport, such as shortening the entry time of export containers in the container yards to minimize the number of containers in the yards; giving the vessels that loaded more and unloaded less higher priority in mooring, etc. in order to elevate the overall operational efficiency. We are also actively contracting for profitable cargo transportation and collaborating with alliance partners to cope with geopolitical impacts. In the long run, the focus is on adjusting routes and designing new routes as an approach to responding to market changes and needs.
