Human Rights Training
The Company's education, training, and propaganda on the Human Rights Policy aim at raising employees' awareness of human rights protection. The Company organized a 0.5-hour course for all onshore employees in 2023, and 1,502 employees completed the course, with a test pass rate of up to 97.91%.
Human Rights Due Diligence
The Company takes human rights issues seriously and introduced the concept of human rights due diligence for the first time in 2023. By analyzing the trends of international human rights issues, interviewing internal officers, and reviewing internal labormanagement documents, the human rights issues within the scope of the Company's own operations have been preliminarily summarized. In 2024, we will conduct a human rights due diligence project to gradually increase the depth and width of human rights management. The project will be implemented in three stages, and due diligence will be conducted on different subjects in each stage. The first stage is human rights due diligence for employees within the scope of the Company's own operations (including onshore employees and seafarers), and the results show that women, children, and migrant workers are subject to low risk; the second stage is human rights due diligence for suppliers; and the third stage is human rights due diligence for joint ventures and/or other stakeholders. Currently, the first stage has been completed, and the remaining project stages are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
