In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, Yang Ming is dedicated to fostering a healthy workplace environment through diverse employee wellness programs. Additionally, we actively support the development of the sports industry by sponsoring major domestic sporting events and nurturing young, talented athletes. In 2024, our efforts earned us the "Sports Enterprise Certification" for the second time, and on November 29, we were honored with the "Sports Activist Awards" sponsorship award bronze class.
Yang Ming promotes a vibrant corporate culture of sports and wellness through a variety of fitness and health initiatives. These include fitness competitions, health seminars, annual hiking events, and a wide range of sports clubs, encouraging employees to enhance their physical fitness and overall health. In recent years, we have also organized multiple interdepartmental sports tournaments, providing a platform for employees and sports enthusiasts from government, industry, and academia to engage in positive and healthy cross-disciplinary exchanges. These efforts underscore our commitment to promoting physical activity, earning us the "Sports Enterprise Certification" for the second time and highlighting our dynamic and proactive corporate culture.
Beyond promoting sports activities within the organization, our commitment to sports extends to sponsoring major domestic and international events such as the Kaohsiung Masters Badminton Tournament and the Taipei Open. Additionally, we continue to sponsor outstanding and promising athletes through regular financial support, enabling them to dedicate themselves to their athletic careers. Under the "Yang Ming Athlete Sponsorship Program", we have supported 66 athletes across various disciplines, including track and field, badminton, wushu, figure skating, table tennis, swimming, taekwondo, roller skating, fencing, and gymnastics. Notable examples include world-ranked table tennis player Kao Cheng-jui (ranked 25th globally), badminton talent Lee Yu-hsuan, and long-distance runner Hsu Li-hung, who consistently pushes boundaries in the track and field arena. Through this long-term sponsorship program, we aim to empower athletes in their professional training and careers, contributing to talent cultivation and fulfilling our corporate social responsibility. By supporting the next generation of sports stars, we help them achieve outstanding results in competitions and advance to the global stage.

Yang Ming has been recognized for its longstanding commitment to employee well-being and fostering a
supportive workplace environment. At the 2024 National Excellence in Healthy Workplace Awards rganized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Yang Ming stood out among numerous contenders and was honored with the prestigious Health Care Award. The award was presented on December 10 by Director-General Tzou Tzu-lien of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and received on behalf of the company by Chief Administrative Officer & Senior Vice President Caroline Chiu.

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been honored with the 2024 Sustainability Partner Award by Union Pacific Railroad (hereinafter “UP Railroad”). The award was presented at UP Railroad’s headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, recognizing Yang Ming’s dedication to sustainable business practices. On behalf of Yang Ming, Mr. Wen-Jin Lee, Senior Executive Vice President of Operations at Yang Ming (America) Corp., and Mr. Brian Tzeng, Vice President of Logistics, accepted the award. Yang Ming Cultural Foundation Joins Forces with NTOU and Hon Hai to Promote Marine Environmental Protection and Education
The Yang Ming Cultural Foundation, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), and Hon Hai Technology Group (Hon Hai) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the YM Oceanic Culture & Art Museum to jointly promote marine environmental protection and education. This collaboration aims to integrate the expertise and resources of the three parties to advance the concept of "life, production, and ecology" in marine environmental education. The initiative seeks to enhance public awareness and participation in marine conservation, thereby fostering sustainable practices.
